Meet PorchLight

Our talented team is on a mission for rural America!

Jessica Meyers is cofounder and CEO of PorchLight and is dedicated to elevating rural communities and the people who choose to live there. Raised on a dairy farm in Winner, SD, and graduating high school in Vermillion, she went on to college at South Dakota State University. After college, she and her husband moved to New York City and Chicago and moved back home in 2010. In her professional career, Jessica has worked in a variety of industries from publishing, sales, and healthcare recruiting where she has ran multi-million dollar organizations and won multiple national awards across industries. Jessica leveraged her passion for people and business acumen to co-create PorchLight. She created the first-of-its-kind PorchLight Certification and created the platform where rural development and job opportunities connect. Personally, Jessica has been married for over 20 years to her high school sweetheart Matt, and have 3 daughters Eve, Grace and Juliet who live in Sioux Falls, SD.
