EgenKapital, parent company of Cannabis Chem Lab (CCL) is a high paced testing laboratory looking for great teammates. Working under the direction of the Laboratory Director, you will develop the required skills and knowledge to be successful.


  • Have experience with Agilent chromatography instrumentation (HPLC, GC/MS).
  • Clean laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Prepare laboratory solutions and chemicals.
  • Perform laboratory tests and assays.
  • Gather lab supplies needed for tests.
  • Communicate with individuals in lab and business office.
  • Record data and information.
  • Follow standard operating procedures.
  • Think critically and creatively on process improvement.


  • Have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biochemistry.
  • Have experience in any of the following: Agilent HPLC, Agilent LC/MS, Agilent GC/MS, Thermofisher ICP, and Agilent PCR.
  • Have experience in a research, testing, or industrial laboratory, or a laboratory internship in an academic setting. An emphasis will be placed sample preparation (weighing samples and pipetting skills) and analytical techniques (knowledge of instrumentation).
  • Have good computer skills, including file and directory creation, email, and Microsoft Office.
  • Show teamsmanship: demonstrate ability to communicate, collaborate, and build relationships both within the laboratory and as a representative of the company outside.
  • Are fluent in reading, writing, and communicating in English, specifically with reading and writing procedures and reports.
  • Are 18 years of age or older.
  • Have industry experience in cannabis analytical techniques. (Not a requirement)

Technicians may be required to work overtime as needed. Changes in business volume and customer requirements can cause the Lab to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the schedule. Technicians should be willing to work these longer shifts, if possible. Preferences will be taken into consideration, but all employees are expected to be willing to work extra, as needed.

To perform the work described above in our Lab, technicians will be trained on proper use of laboratory instrumentation; be required to stand on concrete floors for an extended period, handle or feel, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, to speak, and to hear. The employee is occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Further, our technicians must have and be able to display skills in Quality Control processes, including operating, maintaining calibrating and cleaning automated equipment; maintaining accurate records and data; have strong technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of Agilent instrumentation. Additionally, the safety of our people is of great importance to us. If the situation warrants it, technicians are asked to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, masks, and protective clothing) and follow guidance on other job-related safety protection.

Salary: Hourly - $18-$25 dependent upon experience and knowledge of instrumentation.
